WILLEMSTAD- January 24, 2017 – The Curaçao Tourist Board is participating at the New York Times Travel Show on January 27-29, 2017. The New York Times Travel Show is one of North America’s premier travel shows, attracting a unique global representation of the world’s leading tourism markets including Africa, Asia, Australia/South Pacific, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Mexico, Central America, South America and the United States.
The show is attended by 500+ exhibitors from 150+ nations including Domestic and international tourism boards, destinations, cruises, tour operators/outfitters, hotels/resorts and travel-related companies and welcomes over 6,000+ trade Professionals, 600+ media professionals and 15,000+ consumers.
Following Curaçao’s success in 2016 with the virtual reality goggles and receiving the most imaginative booth award at the show, CTB is gearing up for another amazing interactive activity for 2017.
At this event, the Curaçao booth will be creating an 8ft x 5.5ft “Curaçao Mosaic” display of our iconic Handelskade. This mosaic will be made by user generated with photos taken over weekend by using hashtag #RightNowInCuracao on public Instagram profiles.

Your photo will appear on the Curaçao promotional display to show New York what’s happening on Right Now in Curaçao.
On Sunday January 29, 2017 the final and complete mosaic artwork will be presented at the end of the New York Times Travel Show. Following the event the mosaic will be shipped directly to Curaçao.
