WILLEMSTAD- December 10, 2017 – On Sunday, December 10, the first edition of the ‘Curaçao is Dushi Fair’ was held at the Himno i Bandera Park at Barber. In September, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) launched the new awareness campaign: Curaçao is Dushi. Live it. Love it,promoting awareness among the island’s population about what a privilege it is to live in Curaçao and be part of the Curaçao community. The fair included several stands offering information, painting and other workshops, sale of local products, tours, massages, local cuisine and also musical entertainment. The official opening included speeches by CTB Product Development Manager, Mr. Ritzel Godfried, Representative Plataforma Bandabou, Ms. Jealaine Wawoe and Minister of Economic Development, Dr. Steven Martina. Furthermore Ms. Filomena ‘Elia’ Isenia shared some interesting stories related to our culture and history.
