WILLEMSTAD – March 16, 2018 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) and the Minister of Economic Development, Dr. Steven Martina, recently handed out certificates to four lodging establishments and seven diving operators after they successfully passed an audit program established by the CTB in close collaboration with the Curaçao Innovation & Technology Institute (CITI). The program, which started in 2015, is aimed at promoting and maintaining quality among all businesses operating in the island’s tourism industry. In this specific program, businesses in the hospitality and tourism sector are audited or re-audited every two years, based on locally and internationally accepted quality standards.
In this round, certificates were presented to the following lodging establishments: Lagoon Ocean Resort, Casa Mango Lodge, Lotus Villas and Caribbean Flower Apartments,as well as to seven re-audited diving operators: Goby Divers, Bahia Diving, Go West Diving,Curaçao Divers, Caribbean Sea Sports, Coral Divers B.V. and Epsilon Dive Center Curaçao. The CTB wishes to congratulate all lodging establishments and diving operators that have successfully completed the audit. Their certificateswill be valid for two years.
