WILLEMSTAD- September 3, 2018 – The Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) recently organized a reception celebrating Aruban artist Jonathan Thiel, better known as Jeon. In Curaçao, the internationally rising star is very well known and liked, and has been for some years now. In the song “Machika,” a collaboration with international Colombian artist J Balvin and Brazilian singer Anitta which climbed to number 1 on several international charts, Jeon gives a shout-out to the ABC islands in the local language Papiamentu.
During Jeon’s visit to Curaçao, the CTB availed itself of the opportunity to show him recognition for his success, as well as appreciation for having mentioned Curaçao in the song Machika.
At the reception, the CTB team was able to meet and share with Jeon in a very friendly atmosphere. The CTB wishes Jeon all the best in his musical career.
