WILLEMSTAD- September 3, 2019 – On World Tourism Day, September 27, 2019, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) in partnership with Ministry of Economic Development (MEO), Curaçao Hospitality and Tourism Association (CHATA) and United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) will host a Tourism Democratic Dialogue (TDD2019). The Tourism Democratic Dialogue is a follow up on the successful National Tourism Conference in 2018. The goal of the Tourism Democratic Dialogue is to receive input that can be used in the making of the Destination Development Plan for Curaçao. During a recent press conference, the Minister of Economic Development Ms. Giselle Mc. William, CTB’s CEO Mr. Paul Pennicook and Senior Advisor Strategy Development & Planning Dr. Dino Daal explained the motive, objectives, format and program of the Tourism Democratic Dialogue.
CTB and its partners invite the community to participate in the Tourism Democratic Dialogue 2019. The format of the Democratic Dialogue is based on inclusiveness allowing the public and private sectors, NGO’s and the community to come together and share their views on tourism—a vital economic pillar.
