Miami tour operator Here You Travel, together with the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), recently organized a work trip to Curaçao for 35 Miami travel agents. The aim was for these travel agents to get to know the island and meet representatives of local accommodations and tourism service providers. The program put together for the trip included “site inspections” at different local accommodations, tours of our city center and the Scharloo and Pietermaai areas, as well as visits to tourist attractions. Towards the end of their visit, the travel agents said they were delighted with visiting Curaçao and experiencing the island’s unique tourism product. The CTB will continue to invest in this type of exchange, in its efforts to increase the number of stayover tourists coming to Curaçao.
