Over the last few years, the different phases of the Marie Pampoen Recreation Area have been developed. At the moment, final work is being done in order to finish phase 3, while the process is underway to develop the plans and allocate the necessary funds for the last phase (phase 4). The Marie Pampoen Recreation Area offers a variety of recreational opportunities and sports, as well as business opportunities for the Curaçao community at large, and especially for the inhabitants of Marie Pampoen. At the same time, the area serves as a tourist attraction where tourists can meet the locals and experience our people and our island.
