WILLEMSTAD- April 12, 2024 – Recently, a delegation of 40 travel agents from Argentina visited Curaçao to get to know and experience the unique tourism product that Curaçao offers. The travel agents came from various cities across Argentina such as Buenos Aires, Rosario, Salta, Jujuy, Cordoba, Salto, and Santa Fe Mendoza. During their stay, the agents explored a range of accommodations, beaches, attractions, and the downtown area. Equipped with newfound knowledge, they are now ready to enhance the promotion of our destination within the Argentine market. The visit was facilitated by wholesaler Eurovips, in collaboration with the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB).
The 7-day itinerary started on the western side of our island, with visits to Shete Boka National Park, Piskadó Beach, and Kenepa Beach, where the travel agents engaged in various water activities. On the following day, the group was divided into teams for a downtown scavenger hunt. Here, they had the opportunity to learn about our history, admire our architecture, walk over our iconic Emma Bridge, and engage with locals. Throughout their stay, the group explored a range of accommodations, including the host hotels Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino and Dreams Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino, alongside Zoëtry Curaçao Resort & Spa, Kunuku Aqua Resort, Renaissance Wind Creek Curaçao Resort, Curaçao Marriott Beach Resort, The Rif at Mangrove Beach Corendon Curaçao All-Inclusive, Curio by Hilton, LionsDive Beach Resort Curaçao, and Papagayo Beach Resort. Additionally, the travel agents toured the Curaçao Sea Aquarium and the liquor factory at Landhuis Chobolobo, while also enjoying the vibrant ambiance at Bario Urban Street Food and Punda Vibes. In the evening, the travel agents were treated to a spectacular sunset, witnessed from the sea during a catamaran tour provided by Curaçao Airport Holding (CAH). Their overwhelming satisfaction underscored their newfound appreciation for Curaçao as a premier tourist destination.
