Curaçao Highlights Tourism Product and Sustainable Initiatives at Vakantiebeurs 2025

January 17, 2025

WILLEMSTAD- January 17, 2025 – From January 8 to 12, Curaçao was once again present at the Vakantiebeurs Utrecht. This year, accompanied by 15 private sector partners, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) formed a dynamic team. The goal was to provide local partners with the opportunity to connect with potential travelers by presenting attractive packages, sharing sustainable tourism initiatives, and highlighting Curaçao’s cultural richness and natural beauty. In addition to a booth, Curaçao also featured a Caribbean Experience stage, where visitors had the chance to win exciting prizes.

The first two days were dedicated to connecting with travel industry professionals during the Travel Trade Days. Information about Curaçao’s tourism product was shared, equipping professionals with greater knowledge and inspiration to connect travelers to Curaçao’s offerings. The remaining three days were open to the public, offering them inspiration for their next trip. At the Caribbean Experience Stage, visitors could take pictures with a CTB representative in cultural attire. They were encouraged to post these photos on social media using specific hashtags for a chance to win attractive prizes from Curaçao’s partners. There was also a lively Happy Hour where attendees enjoyed delicious Blue Curaçao cocktails, which drew significant attention. Additionally, visitors had the opportunity to win fantastic prizes from Landhuis Chobolobo, Acoya Curaçao Resort & Spa, Miss Ann Boat Trips, Samurai Curaçao, Dolphin Suites & Wellness, and Go Fast Watersports. To promote sustainability, a water cooler was installed at the Curaçao booth, allowing partners and visitors to refill their water bottles, contributing to reduced plastic use. Reusable bottles made from recycled plastic were also provided by Join the Pipe.

CTB extends its gratitude to all partners who were part of the team: Acoya Curaçao Resort, Villas & Spa, Coral Estate Luxury Resort, Courtyard by Marriott, Delynne Resort Curaçao, Dolphin Suites & Wellness, Powerboat Caribbean, HATO Caves, Hòfi Mango, Kontiki Beach Resort, Landhuis Chobolobo, Miss Ann Boat Trips, Morena Resort, Samurai Curaçao, Scuba Lodge & Art Hotel and ‘t Klooster & BOHO.
