WILLEMSTAD – January 21, 2025 – Recently, Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), along with Association of Musicians and Artists of Curaçao (AMAK), Foundation for the Development of Curaçao Carnival (FDKK) and a representative of Jacky Circuit, conducted a media tour in Aruba. The goal was to inform and warmly invite the Aruban community to participate in various events taking place in Curaçao during 2025. As the year begins, the primary focus was on the Tumba Festival and Curaçao Carnival 2025. However, information was also shared about other confirmed events for the year.
The final night of the Tumba Festival is highly anticipated by visitors from Aruba, as is the farewell parade on Tuesday night. This year, the popular Aruban band Buleria will be part of the festival. Jair ‘Buddy’ Vesprey from Aruba will participate with the musical band Icons. With performances by Buleria and Buddy, a significant Aruban presence is expected at the Tumba Festival 2025.
During the interviews, details were also provided about other scheduled events for 2025, including Hak’e Jump-In Festival, Hak’e Curaçao Summer Festival, Curaçao International Film Festival, Curaçao International BlueSeas Festival, Legends Football Tournament Curaçao, Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival, KLM Curaçao Marathon and two Drag Race events, Gymkhana and Caribbean Pinks All Out, ensuring there is something for everyone.
CTB extends gratitude to the Aruban media, including Erin Croes – Magic FM Aruba, DJ Stròngòlò -Top 95 FM, Tarrick Ras & The Wake Up Crew – X FM Aruba, Den Dje & Nos Mainta -TeleAruba, Tito Laclé – NoticiaCla, Arthur Kelly – Power 101.7 FM, Julisa Hoevertsz – Canal 90 FM and Jonathan Lake – Hot 103.5 FM Aruba, for their hospitality. CTB reflects with satisfaction on the positive response from Aruba regarding events in Curaçao. Last year, Curaçao welcomed a total of 13.525 visitors from Aruba, an increase of 12%. CTB is prepared to continue extending a warm welcome to visitors from Aruba in 2025.
