…with approximately 3500 in attendance…
WILLEMSTAD- April 29, 2019 – The sixth edition of the Curaçao InfoMart was recently held in Suriname. Although thanks to the ongoing promotional efforts of the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB), information on Curaçao is readily available in that country, it is nevertheless important to once a year gather all stakeholders and provide the public, over the course of two days, with updated information on Curaçao’s tourism product. Those attending the InfoMart this year received information on accommodation packages, flights and upcoming events.
All sectors of the tourism industry were represented at the Curaçao InfoMart. The event brought together stakeholders from both Suriname and Curaçao, offering travelers all the information they may need before and during their trip. As in previous years, the CTB was joined by Fundashon Bon Intenshon, which made use of the opportunity to reveal the list of performers confirmed so far for the next edition of the Curaçao North Sea Jazz Festival. The first day of this year’s Curaçao InfoMart was held at the MidTown Mall, Wanica District, and the second on the TBL Cinemas’ parking lot in Paramaribo. The Curaçao InfoMart 2019, which was once again fully Curaçao-themed, attracted a crowd of about 3500.
The CTB wishes to thank all its partners in Curaçao for their participation, namely: Celebrations, Kura Hulanda Lodge, Kura Hulanda Village & Spa, Livingstone Jan Thiel Resort, Santa Barbara Beach & Golf Resort Curaçao, Scuba Lodge & Ocean Suites and Sunscape Curaçao Resort, Spa & Casino.
