WILLEMSTAD – May 21, 2018 – Chef Broertje Marshall recently organized a lunch to thank the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) for their support as he participated in different competitions as professional chef. Chef Charlwin Marshall, better known as Chef Charlie or Chef Broertje Marshall, has a long and successful track record in the culinary world. He could always count on support from the CTB in the form of promotional material during international competitions, and was included on occasion at international exhibitions such as Sabor Barranquilla in Colombia as part of the Curaçao team. In 2016, the CTB also organized a special event celebrating Chef Marshall, recognizing him for his international achievements.
Chef Broertje Marshall recently decided to pass on the baton in connection with international competitions and, because of that, with the assistance of Chefs Kenrick Amalia and Fercho Perez, organized a thank-you lunch for the CTB team. Chef Perez flew in all the way from Ecuador especially to share this occasion with Chef Marshall and Chef Amalia.
The CTB team loved the delicious lunch. Joining the CTB team at this special occasion was Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Ms. Alcalá-Wallé. The CTB presented all three Chefs with a souvenir as a token of their appreciation. The CTB wishes all three chefs all the best in their future endeavors.
