WILLEMSTAD – April 2, 2017:- Once again this year, the Curaçao Tourist Board (CTB) is promoting drag-racing events abroad; in this case the Curaçao Extreme Drag Fest 2017. Drag-racing and similar events are good opportunities to promote Curaçao and attract speed-sports fans to the island.
The CTB and the Curaçao Extreme Foundation (CEF) are working together to promote the Curaçao Extreme Drag Fest abroad, focusing especially on the sister-island of Aruba. Aruba’s turnout at drag-racing events is always huge, which is why the Curaçao team visited the neighboring island for a media tour, providing complete information on the races as well as the entertainment options available on Curaçao during the weekend of the Curaçao Extreme Drag Fest 2017.
The community of Curaçao is also invited to visit the Curaçao Extreme Drag Fest 2017, and support both our local drivers and those visiting from Aruba, Bonaire, Colombia, Panama, Puerto Rico and Venezuela. Expect lots and lots of speed at the Curaçao International Raceway on April 29 and 30, and May 1, 2017, at the Curaçao Extreme Drag Fest 2017.
